15 Months & His First Haircut!

What a great weekend for Team Anders. This was our first weekend together sans guests or family in what seems like quite a while so we logged lots of family fun and we even knocked out another milestone in our little homie's life...his first haircut! Now I know many of you (myself included) are sad to see those adorable little curls go but they were getting super nappy... kiddo. in pajamas. at Bob Evans. looks homeless. So after we hauled in a less-than-stellar Bob Evans breakfast (the  hot spot  and  The Fers  have spoiled us for life...note to self: we need a good D-town breakfast place) we knocked out another swim lesson at Tops  and headed over to Cookie Cutters near the Dayton Mall. Super fun little joint but unfortunately I think Rae could have cut his hair better... Anyway, come, re-live this moment with us... Mount up, Easton. He was super pumped because that's the same little car thingy we push him around in...though ours has straps...why ...

Happy Birthday, Bro & Silly Grandma Tricks

Who are you and what did you do with my Grandmother? My Mom flew in on Saturday afternoon (hi, Mom! - smile)...and then headed out for her midwest road trip this morning (bye, Mom - upside-down smile). There's never a dull moment while she's around though and we made the most of our 30 or so hours together...Easton's in love... Do what with my legs?? Ohhhh...kick 'em....  Yea! Yea! Yea! Silly Grandma tricks part 2. Teaching him to cross his arms and truly be a Little Homie...no quiiite there but working on it And now moving to the dinner portion of our evening.  Inspired by his BFF Jack Joseph, Easton gets after some sweet corn. Jury's still out but I think he likes it... Your thoughts? :) No evening is complete without a stroll around the 'hood And Grandma hit the turbocharger button and whooosh! OK so #photogfail on this shot but I thought I'd try the motion shot... I think I need another photography challenge to h...

4th of July "Ketchup"

Hello everyone! I've missed you :) Hello everyone and Happy 4th of July!! It's been a little while since I've written so wanted to catch you all up on the Team Anders happenings. We've been having so much fun with all our recent visitors that I haven't had much time to write. The week after Jeffy Pants' visit Jace's cousin Charlie and his friend Brian Jones came to visit. They all headed to Cincinnati to watch the Twins play the Reds. Easton and I held it down in the Creek and did our thing with Rae. Jace, Charlie and Jonesy Chuck and Jonesy left on Sunday and we knocked out a loooong week of work while anxiously awaiting our next set of visitors on Friday -- Welcome, Team Sandness!! Pete, Polly, Maren and Tyler were here to enjoy the heat with us and we had such a great time :) It was so much fun to watch the kids play together. Maren was such a good babysitter and Tyler taught Easton how to play with cars and trucks. We had a home-cooked mea...
