Oh my heavens I'm beyond in love with this photo!! Easton & GammaGampa My mom (aka GammaGampa) was in town for a way-too-quick visit last weekend. Jace was in Florida with his dad, Mr. Rod and Brian for their annual Grudge Cup (which I'm pleased to announce the young guys won) and my dad is off playing war somewhere in the Pacific so she came to see Easton and help me whittle down the "to-do" list that I can never seem to find time "to do".  So let's track our progress, shall we?? Friday : I took leave and Easton headed off to school.  After numerous cups of coffee, trips to Target, Michael's, HomeGoods and the mall we turned this... ...into this! Happy Birthday, Bro & Silly Grandma Tricks

Who are you and what did you do with my Grandmother? My Mom flew in on Saturday afternoon (hi, Mom! - smile)...and then headed out for her midwest road trip this morning (bye, Mom - upside-down smile). There's never a dull moment while she's around though and we made the most of our 30 or so hours together...Easton's in love... Do what with my legs?? Ohhhh...kick 'em....  Yea! Yea! Yea! Silly Grandma tricks part 2. Teaching him to cross his arms and truly be a Little Homie...no quiiite there but working on it And now moving to the dinner portion of our evening.  Inspired by his BFF Jack Joseph, Easton gets after some sweet corn. Veteran's Day Weekend 2011

Happy Veteran's Day 2011 (Found this on our walk) Whew what a FUN weekend we just wrapped up...and a calorically intense one as well I must add (me and the Minuteman Trail have a serious date tomorrow). A belated Happy Veteran's Day to all of you readers out there who have or are currently serving this great Nation! Jace is celebrating the holiday the same way he has for the past four or five years... in Las Vegas playing for the Hanscom Eagles at the  Armed Service Hockey Classic . To keep us company for the three-day weekend, Grandma Bon and Grandpa Doug came out to visit Easton and me.
