Hello everyone and Happy Memorial Day ! The Team would first like to say thank you to all our servicemen and women and their families for all the sacrifices they've made while serving our country...we salute you on this day of remembrance! We've had a fabulous four-day weekend and we're all sad to see Monday evening roll around because that means it's back to the grind tomorrow :( Thank goodness we've milked every minute out of this weekend and enjoyed some super fun family time! We kicked the weekend off with a Friday afternoon couch shopping extravaganza and ended up buying this one... You're welcome, Rosie. Didn't I just post a picture of a "new house" about five months ago ? Can't believe both our cars fit...Jace's parking skills will be tested DAILY Well the Team has finally made it to our new home and we couldn't be more happy! Temporary living had its high points - especially getting to spend so much time with my mama - but nothing beats our own bed :) It's been a whirlwind weekend and we're both exhausted but I couldn't leave ya'll hangin' after my last Facebook post. If you couldn't tell I was a little concerned that our household goods (yea, Jeff, HHG = household goods) weren't going to arrive but they did and it's been "go, go, go" since Friday. We're pretty much as settled as we can be after 48 hours and there's quite a bit left to do but the essentials are set. LOVE YOU, MOM!!! I've been quite a lucky girl lately because I've had the opportunity to spend such a large amount of time with my mama! I don't remember the last time we've been able to be together like this and it's been wonderful...more than wonderful but I'm vocabularily challenged so wonderful is the best I can do at the moment. "vocabularily" isn't even a word :) We've had a great week here in our temporary housing and I can't believe we only have four days left.  I'm hoping I can just renew our reservation indefinitely but sadly I think my request will be denied. I mean where else can you crash for $50/day in a furnished 2BR house with a yard AND cleaning crew? We're taking full advantage of the last perk as we've had some epic dinners over the week...Little Homie likes pasta, tomato sauce and hummus...none of which make for an easy cleanup!
