Weekdays With Team Anders

I've been meaning to document our weekday routine for quite a little bit.  Easton's 21 months old and I'm sure things will be changing before we know it so I want to make sure we remember this! This post is long so consider yourself warned :) Our days start sometimes at 0240 or 0443 or, on a good morning, 0530.  The early wake up calls are not from our child, they're sent with love from Rae's ever-shrinking bladder and/or her need to poop. That's a whole other story though...good thing she's cute!! Our cute little 7 year old...cuteness is blurry at 2am

Saturday "Gymnastics"

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you all are having a great day.  I'm going to whine for a second so fast forward to the third paragraph if you're over it. We had an interesting early morning when little E woke us up again with another vomiting spell. He had one earlier in the week (Weds night) and we're beginning to think the little man is allergic to strawberries! So strange because up to this point in his life he's dominated those sweet little berries with no problem whatsoever. We'll continue to monitor but such a bummer for the little dude. On top of him being up for four rounds of fun last night our furnace stopped working this morning and it was a balmy 59 degrees in the house. Sweet! Jace and I both continue to battle the upper respiratory crud while we battle through this cleanse . Is it June yet? I'm ready for our anniversary trip !! Where you will find Jace & me this June. There WILL be a permanent butt mark on my lounger after we leave. Ok ...

Pond Hockey 2013

Here's an aerial shot of the tournament. I count 26 rinks! Hard to believe it's been a year since Jace was last crusin' around Lake Nokomis with Team Franchise  but I suppose it's true...time does fly.   Team Franchise's 2013 performance in the 8th annual US Pond Hockey Championships was an epic repeat this year...make it to Sunday, lose the first game and head home.  Though this one played out the same as the others he's participated in there was a bit of excitement this time around as my dear husband took a puck off the face AND it was so windy the warming tent had to be evacuated for everyone's safety. Yep, sounds like a gay ole time. beauty, babe. beauty.

Thank You, Thank You...

Greetings, all!  Thanks for the positive feedback many of you left about the Team Anders blog's new look.  I did want to thank a few blogosphere and Facebook peeps who so generously let me (and numerous others) use their fabulous designs...FOR FREE!  Click 'read more' if you care to find out where I found all these goodies.

December Favorites

yes, i'm well aware it's the middle of january but i'm so behind and wanted to share a bit of our last month of 2012. sorry i've been so out of touch but i'm fairly content with our new blog design and my eyes are healing nicely from the PRK surgery I had a week ago wednesday so I should be back up with my weekly inbox spam. :) the header is total amateur hour (no laughing at my lack of graphic design skillz, Kelly) but i'm having fun nonetheless. if you haven't been actually out to the blog lately please take a look and let me know what you think. I've added my Instagram feed as well as loaded up our Team Anders YouTube channel so our latest videos populate as soon as I load them. there are some gems out there! ok, ok, enough with all the words. here are pictures....enjoy!! my first set of favs, hands down. Easton and Uncle Jeff reading a book and trying to figure out how tall eSmallz is. Book reading was a smashing success...getting an accurate h...

Snow, Snow, Snow

I'm a little late on this post but I've been trying to learn Adobe Photoshop Elements so I've been really distracted from writing.  We had a great snowstorm here on the day after Christmas and Easton really enjoyed playing in it (though we hadn't yet bought him snow boots -- oops!). Practice run... Solo snow angel!! See? those are his little StrideRite boots :( #mommyfailagain
