Me...today...ugh... I'm exhausted...and have a stomach ache. I know you wanted to know, so you're welcome :) At this point you may be wondering why I'm so exhausted -- and if you're not I'm going to assume you are so I feel like you care. You may be asking yourself if I had a long day at work? Sure, but that's normal. Maybe a long, heart-healthy workout?   HA, humorous! Today I had a pre-op LASIK/PRK evaluation...and I almost passed out on my poor doctor and tech! Yea, first time in my life where I flirted with passing out and it was at the eye doctor?? No needles, no blood, no craziness to speak of. I got the yellow dye drops put in and all was fine then the tech hit me with a few dilation drops and sent me to the waiting room. The Tuesday after a four-day weekend is always a bummer, right? Yea, same held true today, no big deal, but I'm not writing to complain...I'm writing to fill ya'll in on all the fun we had this weekend! It was finally here...my dad's trip to Dayton!!! None of us had seen him in almost a year  (look how small LH was!!) but that's OK, he's been kinda busy . :) He arrived on Thursday afternoon and due to a last-minute meeting Jace got roped into I headed off to the airport to pick 'em up -- a pretty sweet twist of fate actually (go ahead...read on). I arrived early enough to meet him as he was walking to baggage claim. I got my HUGE hug and it was the best -- then he makes the oddball comment "I hope you don't mind but I picked up a woman along the way!" I turned my head and BEST SURPRISE EVER there was my mom!!! :) I was thrilled to have them both here with us...and we bee-lined it to pick Easton up from school. First stop... patio f...
