Day 1: Boston, MA to Easton, PA Day 2: Easton, PA to Pittsburgh, PA Day 3: Pittsburgh, PA to Dayton, OH We made it to Dayton and the blog title has officially changed!! Bonnie T, Easton, Rae and I left Hanscom on Tuesday, May 1st and arrived safely at Wright Patt on the afternoon of Thursday, May 3rd. It was a pretty easy trip thanks 100% to my mother. If she wasn't here I'd probably be in jail in Easton, PA (I'll explain in a minute...) Let's start at the beginning. Mom arrived in Boston on Wednesday, April 25th to help us move out of the house and for my promotion . Once the house was empty the two of us took Easton and Rae and moved into the temporary housing at Hanscom...400 sq feet, two adults, one toddler and a Yorkie. My mom said it reminded her of our summers in Minocqua. Jace was on vacation in Key West from the 25-29th though so that freed up some space for us for most of our time there. We passed the time by taking a LOT of walks even though it was...

So...even better than chocolates...Team Anders is moving to Dayton this summer!! Yeay!!! Just received the good news today and we're both so excited to be headed back to the midwest. I'm very excited for the opportunity to work for the inbound AFMC Commander General (select) Wolfenbarger . Talk about impressive...if confirmed by the Senate she will be the Air Force's first female four-star general. Also near and dear to my heart she was a member of the first graduating class of women at USAFA (1980) -- thanks to all those who endured those four years of absolute hell and paved the way for so many of us. ;) Ok so just wanted to let you all know our super news. No details yet on the dates (assume June for now) and the specifics on what both Jace and I will be doing but will be sure to keep you all updated in our weeklys!! Hello hello!! I think I'm still riding the sugar high of yesterday's cookie swap at Brent & Lisa Olson's house. It was the perfect Christmas get together. Just check out all the yummy goodness from yesterday's swap! I brought Chocolate Candy Cane cookies . These are the cookies I brought. They started like this... and then I added the homemade buttercream frosting and rolled them in crushed candy canes and got this!! p.s. I added mini chocolate chips to the frosting ;) I've never seen so many sugar cookies in my entire life! From top left clockwise: Dani, Lisa (our hostess), Christie Emily, Serenity, someone's random head and Erin :) One of about 15 trays of decorated cookies There were some very talented ladies at this party... I was not one of them... I did manage to get frosting in my hair after decorating only two cookies though. Yep, that's Jace in the background...get it, kid! Crystal's masterpiece....
