Mother's Day #2 and Easton's Solo Walk!

LOVE YOU, MOM!!! I've been quite a lucky girl lately because I've had the opportunity to spend such a large amount of time with my mama! I don't remember the last time we've been able to be together like this and it's been wonderful...more than wonderful but I'm vocabularily challenged so wonderful is the best I can do at the moment. See? "vocabularily" isn't even a word :) We've had a great week here in our temporary housing and I can't believe we only have four days left.  I'm hoping I can just renew our reservation indefinitely but sadly I think my request will be denied. I mean where else can you crash for $50/day in a furnished 2BR house with a yard AND cleaning crew? We're taking full advantage of the last perk as we've had some epic dinners over the week...Little Homie likes pasta, tomato sauce and hummus...none of which make for an easy cleanup! Walk This Way!

Today I picked Easton up from daycare and as we were putting his shoes on and about ready to head out for the day I decided to stand him up and see how his balance was coming along...ba BAM he took about 8 steps to me! Here's the result... if at first you don't succeed...just do it for Daddy :)

Steady...Steady...

Look, friends, I'm standing all by my dang self!!! Hope everyone's doing alright without that extra hour of sleep last night! I know it's thrown us for a bit of a loop here but we're managing. Smallz has been one ball 'o hot mess today. Not sure if it's due to the time change, his top front two teeth finally breaking through his gums or his cough that seems to be progressing beyond the normal daycare hack. Waaaa...Easton!! In between his fussy spells he's had a great day today though. The sun was shining and the temperature was high enough for us all to get out for a long walk. It was great - and Rae sure appreciated it, too (as she snoozes away curled up by Jace on the couch). It's been an exciting weekend around the Anders house. March Madness is upon us and E is so close to taking his first steps. I'm not sure who's more excited right now...Easton or Mr. Bracketologist himself. All I hear from the other room is ESPN and the "c...
