Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Team Anders Christmas

Waiting for Santa I hope this quick update finds everyone happy, healthy and 5 lbs heavier like yours truly. OK, OK, I don't really hope for the last part but dang I need to slow my caloric roll :)  Anyway, we've had quite the crazy December so I've been horrible with keeping these posts current after my birthday . Sorry bout that. But here we are. Gonna hit you with a few more over the next couple days (I hope). I'll start with Christmas.

Christmas Time Is Here

All ready for the Tomlinsons' arrival! Yeay! December!! Our tree has been up since the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the Christmas tunes have been playing since around then, too (thanks 94.5 FM ).  I'm pretty excited for the holidays this year because it will be the first time I'll get to spend it with my family since 2009 (I think).  Regardless, the house is decorated, everyone's got a stocking and we're ready for a great time!  Here's a quick look at our weekend. Good times had by all -- though the rain totally ruined a nearly 60 degree day today (ugh).

Down With the Sickness

Well our little guy is on the mend and acting like his normal happy self but this week was a rough one for little eSmallz. He's been battling what seems to be the standard-issue upper respiratory infection all the kids around Hanscom are currently rockin'. Won't complain though because one of the little girls in his room came down with bronchitis and pneumonia last week!! Poor little thing. Easton's sickness started on Monday and he  finally  just started acting like himself this afternoon. Threw the co-captains for quite the loop I must say. We did a well orchestrated dance of each working half-days and tagging the other out each day around 10:00 AM. Thank goodness for understanding bosses...and VPN connections!! So glad that Easton's feeling better though...my heart's been breaking for the little dude all week...though I managed to score some MAJOR cuddles from the little cutie. Crappy circumstances but what a wonderful feeling to know he felt better being clo...

Home Sweet Home For Christmas

Hello my beloved blogosphere, oh how I've missed you! It's been two weeks since I last chronicled the Team Anders' happenings but it feels like a month! Lots has happened here so let me catch you all up... As I mentioned in my sugar-laced post  from the 18th, the Team has uprooted ourselves from Reading and moved to Hanscom AFB. We enlisted the help of our absolutely wonderful friends to help us move on Friday the 23rd and, after my mom's helpful but WAY too short visit, I'm happy to report that the Team is settled! Both Jace and I feel a little bit more like we actually have a home here now. The space is amazing and we're both so excited to have a yard for the little guy ( and girl )! Here's our new pad...Take note of the incredibly festive decorations on our front porch. Those, my friends, are "Santa Bullets" These things are so dang cute they needed their own close up. Vintage Tomlinson family decorations that I hijacked years ago :...
