...it'll get warm but I'm not holding my breath. My week started with a quick overnight work trip down to Barksdale AFB .  They have B-52s...lots and lots of old B-52s ... All went well with the meeting (who hoo!) but our return flight was this control freak's nightmare. On approach our wheels were about to hit the runway when we caught a nasty crosswind and the pilot had to abort the landing (I think that's what they say but, hey, I fly a desk so I could be wrong).  He pushed up the throttle and we climbed through the bumpiest air ever. I was convinced we were going to die. 100% Convinced. (dramatic, much?) This is probably what we looked like...minus the landing part   We circled around, attempted another landing, failed, then finally touched down on the third attempt and it was smooth as glass -- go figure. The last time I was that scared on a flight I took a picture of myself so my parents could remember what I looked like. I was like 10...and faile...

After today's earlier post I'm running short on time so gonna hit you all up with the Cliff Notes version of my week and Easton's 21st week of life (plus I'm sure you're in need of a break from my ramblings...it's really a win for both sides). 1. Went back to the doctor for E's 2-week weigh in after switching formula. Result = zero weight gain. #momfail So...it's on to two servings of rice cereal and an extra bottle @ night. Recent culinary explorations include sweet potatoes and avocados - both a smashing success! (VIDEO BELOW) Yea, I want that, quit asking and FEED ME Thx, Dad. 17 weeks and still no hair :/ Hello from cloudy and drizzly Boston, MA. The Team is finally reunited..."and it feels so good" (thanks Peaches & Herb !) So before we plow through multiple loads of laundry--the glorious result of Mr. Anders' two-week trip--I wanted to post a quick update on our past week. We've had three big firsts...first "parent-teacher conference", first artwork and first solid food. I may have jumped the gun with the last of these "firsts" but my curiosity got the best of me. :) After ice painting, experimenting with warm/cold water and learning to hold things...wow, what a workout for E! Easton's been attending daycare at the CDC since June 6th and this was Room 10's first round of parent-teacher conferences we got to participate in. One of E's caregivers, Miss Patty, had put together a really cute binder of all the observations they'd done with him and filled out a really long and detailed re...
