A Decade? Seriously?

Did  I seriously just spent the past 48 hours at our Air Force Academy 10-year class reunion?? Yep. It happened.  Um...excuse me, Time, slow the 'H' down already! The weekend was a slightly mixed bag of emotions for me though -- thrilled to see old friends and meet some of their new little families but also a bit sad to say such a brief hello (or none at all in some cases) then goodbye to our beloved C-Springs "family". Hopefully, Team Anders can pack up shop and head west once again in the near future... Anyway (waa waa)...the reunion weekend was amazing!  I picked Sam up at the Springs airport around 10 AM, we grabbed some essentials and then headed for the hotel . It's a good thing we're still so classy. That evening Kathy and Rollan Logan, my sponsor family, had us both over for dinner. They had prepared all my favorites -- grilled chicken with the special Logan BBQ sauce, cheesy macaroni goodness, salad and beer!! The conversation was wonderful a...

A Few Videos

Go Bears!! I was super lazy this week with the camera...it never left its case, sadly :(  Luckily the trusty iPhones are never too far away so I managed to grab a couple super sweet videos of Easton... This new blog format doesn't support our YouTube clips running on the side like our old one so here's a link to our Team Anders YouTube Channel . Two days of work this week before I take a relaxo Wednesday and head to Colorado at 0-dark-thirty on Thursday for our USAFA 10 year reunion with Sam!! I'm so excited I might not sleep for the next few days :)

LDK Does Dayton

Anders/LDK Family Photo @ Cox Arboretum We are blessed for many reasons...and one big one is our friends!! Liz and Danny made a quick trip from Boston to spend the weekend with us and, as expected, we had a blast. We loved on Easton, had a fabulous double date, ate way too much and laughed the entire weekend. After two nights of going to bed at 11 pm ( gasp! ) I'm super tired so here are some pics to showcase the fun -- I know that's the only reason you're here anyway.  :) Easton reading his Boston book to all of us Lots of "ducks" in this one...he loves ducks Breakfast @ Tanks! We headed to the park after breakfast -- based on what we all ate we all should still be at the playground doing pull-ups or something Kid @ heart :) Homie loves him some tunnels and Liz loves her some Homie ;)   After lunch/nap time we headed to the Cox Arboretum to see the butterflies walking away from the CLOSED butterfly house #momfail ...

Michigan and the NFL

NFL Opening Weekend 2012 Today was more exciting than Christmas for Jace...yep, it's the start of the 2012 NFL season and time for Jace's 1,252,285 fantasy leagues to begin. Things look a little different around here this year since Easton's now up and running around like a wild man. Remember this ridiculous spread from last year? Ha. Pretty sure he was still missing a few... Anyway let me back it up a day real quick. Jace and I had a super fun adults only day yesterday as we road-tripped up to the Big House in Ann Arbor to watch our beloved Falcons play Michigan. After last week's trip to Chicago  it was nice to enjoy the quiet together for a few hours :) We left Dayton around 8 am and arrived in Ann Arbor at 11. We picked up our tickets and then headed to tailgating's Mecca...the Ann Arbor Check this mess out: Our final destination -- The Keough Tailgate OK so I realize now that these pictures don't even come close to doing the scene ...
