Valentines Day Surprise!!

So...even better than chocolates...Team Anders is moving to Dayton this summer!! Yeay!!!

Just received the good news today and we're both so excited to be headed back to the midwest. I'm very excited for the opportunity to work for the inbound AFMC Commander General (select) Wolfenbarger. Talk about impressive...if confirmed by the Senate she will be the Air Force's first female four-star general. Also near and dear to my heart she was a member of the first graduating class of women at USAFA (1980) -- thanks to all those who endured those four years of absolute hell and paved the way for so many of us. ;)

Ok so just wanted to let you all know our super news. No details yet on the dates (assume June for now) and the specifics on what both Jace and I will be doing but will be sure to keep you all updated in our weeklys!! And...while I've got you here...check out how excited Easton is (video):

  1. Congratulations! Sounds like that is going to be great for you guys. You're not going to be able to keep up with Easton soon. :) Did you know that Steve Russ was coming out to the Academy as assistant head football coach?

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
