Along the Way

The Tuesday after a four-day weekend is always a bummer, right? Yea, same held true today, no big deal, but I'm not writing to complain...I'm writing to fill ya'll in on all the fun we had this weekend! It was finally here...my dad's trip to Dayton!!! None of us had seen him in almost a year  (look how small LH was!!) but that's OK, he's been kinda busy . :) He arrived on Thursday afternoon and due to a last-minute meeting Jace got roped into I headed off to the airport to pick 'em up -- a pretty sweet twist of fate actually (go ahead...read on). I arrived early enough to meet him as he was walking to baggage claim. I got my HUGE hug and it was the best -- then he makes the oddball comment "I hope you don't mind but I picked up a woman along the way!" I turned my head and BEST SURPRISE EVER there was my mom!!! :) I was thrilled to have them both here with us...and we bee-lined it to pick Easton up from school. First stop... patio f...

Hopefully, Team Anders can pack up shop and head west once again in the near future... Anyway (waa waa)...the reunion weekend was amazing!  I picked Sam up at the Springs airport around 10 AM, we grabbed some essentials and then headed for the hotel . It's a good thing we're still so classy. That evening Kathy and Rollan Logan, my sponsor family, had us both over for dinner. They had prepared all my favorites -- grilled chicken with the special Logan BBQ sauce, cheesy macaroni goodness, salad and beer!! The conversation was wonderful a...

A Few Videos

Go Bears!! I was super lazy this week with the camera...it never left its case, sadly :(  Luckily the trusty iPhones are never too far away so I managed to grab a couple super sweet videos of Easton... This new blog format doesn't support our YouTube clips running on the side like our old one so here's a link to our Team Anders YouTube Channel . Two days of work this week before I take a relaxo Wednesday and head to Colorado at 0-dark-thirty on Thursday for our USAFA 10 year reunion with Sam!! I'm so excited I might not sleep for the next few days :)
