Jodi Picoult

Didn't see this one coming but my husband has officially become addicted to reading!  Recent obsession = Jodi Picoult.  If you're looking for something fun to fill the void that your favorite TV shows have left during the "holiday break" pick one up.  He's currently cruising through "Salem Falls" - which he didn't put down the entire time I was building this blog yesterday - and I'm about a 1/4 through "House Rules".  Not sure what "SF" is all about but "HR" centers around a family with an autistic child and the disappearance of his social skills tutor.  Wow, with that review I should just quit the military and become a critic...at any rate, it's a definite page turner so far!

Well there's the timer indicating our gourmet Newman's Own cheese pizza is ready to eat so I'm outie.  Cheers from the New England tundra :)

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
