"Blizzard" of 2010

I use quotes around blizzard because I don’t think we quite got the winds necessary to officially declare “BLIZZARD” but nonetheless it snowed... and it snowed for quite a while.  As I currently look out the window at our clear shot of I-93 the cars are moving along just fine and there’s plenty of clear asphalt.  Despite the excellent preparation for and removal of the snow by MassDOT the gates of Hanscom AFB remain closed this AM and Jace and I get to spend the day lounging!  So VERY excited that neither of us have to worry about shoveling or clearing sidewalks - the perks of apartment living, right?

Snow on our balcony furniture

Regardless of how much I’d rather just stay inside today the little one still has to do her business outdoors - potty pad training at 5 years old has been a major failure, ha!  Here are some photos from our adventures at 7am.

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
