"It's Been One Week..."

E's first USAFA gear
So they say "time flies when you're having fun"... well it also flies when you're avoiding projectile poop and hot springs of urine from an infant!  Jace and I have had a roller coaster week but all-in-all it's been pretty great.  E's been a very easy baby so far (yes, my knuckles are bleeding from knocking on wood) - eats, sleeps, and POOPS right in line with the scouting report.  During the last week we've had numerous friends drop in w/food and endless offers to help with this and that...it's quite wonderful to know we have such a strong support system here with our Hanscom family.  LOVE YOU GUYS!  As for the other things we've been up to, well, I thought I'd just show you in a 6 minute video.  This will probably be very boring to 95% of you but I had fun learning how to use iMovie '09 on our MacBook and am well aware that I shouldn't quit my day job ;) Enjoy and hope everyone has a Happy Easter tomorrow!

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
