Watch Me Grow...10 Months

19 Feb 12 - 10 months, 2 days old
~21 lbs and wearing mostly 12 month old clothes (some pants are too big)

Easton turned 10 months old last Wednesday but we didn't get around to having our full-on photo shoot until his schedule opened up yesterday morning. He and his assistant have been so busy walking all over the house and when he finally slows down for a minute, well, then he's always yapping with someone so I feel bad interrupting. Things I think he may be talking about but can't quite make sense of his sentences yet:
  1. How his assistant is so helpful but starting to annoy him so he might go solo soon
  2. Wondering what these two, hard white things are emerging from his upper gums - ouch
  3. Impressed with the increased accuracy of Cheerios getting into his mouth now that he can use his pointer finger and thumb together
  4. How rad his new little StrideRite's are...oh yea...size 4m...no big deal
Ha!! Seriously though, so much going on here and Easton continues to learn something new every day. We're having so much fun...this age rocks!! Also loving the fact that we're less than two months away from the transition from formula over to milk -- Smallz is drinking so much these days that we're going through a case every two weeks. Yowza!  Two questions for you parentals out there...1. When did your kiddo start drinking milk instead of formula and (random) 2. When did you transition from the infant car seat? This little homie is getting heavy!!

Alright, without any further ramblings here are some pictures from the week and beware there are a LOT (and a video in there, too).

Started to figure out he could make the chair rock...uh oh...

Sitting still didn't last long

Little did we know how tasty our wicker toy
box could really be - YUCK

OMG look at that cute little thing!

Had to recharge after the shoot...

Our new kicks!

Easton showing off his new kicks to DK and Liz

Um, excuse me ya big dummy, my assistant
and I would like to continue on our way

My new favorite face. Adorable!!

The funny face he does now that his teeth are coming in...

Sleepy but still wanted to play...

I hope you all get to enjoy the President's Day holiday Monday!! Hasta :)

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
