Jeffy Pants Design House, Inc.

It's official - JT has finished teaching in the Dominican and is headed back to the Mile High City! He stopped off for a few days here in the good 'ole midwest to visit his nephew but sadly Easton welcomed him home with the toddler's version of the middle finger (thank goodness he hasn't learned the adult version...yet). Though Jeff's feelings were hurt I am actually pretty pumped the scenario played out this way becaaaause Jeff Pants Design kicked into high-gear (sorry, that was so "all about me")! Inspired by our new favorite late-morning show (love u, Nate) we got our home design on -- hello HomeGoods, Lowe's and Goodwill! Though we're no Spanky and Mel Leonard we found some great bargains and he helped turn our new house into a home!

Check it out...

We started here -- camping chairs, no curtains and DirecTV

And then we welcomed this beauty into our lives...
And "voila"! Just some fun punches of color but I'm in love :)
Curtains from Target. Hardware from Lowes. Pillows, "end tables" and white table from HomeGoods.
Farm book accent piece from Easton's personal collection.

Enter super-duper Jeffy Pants Design...
Bought the frames at Goodwill and pics are places Team Anders has traveled!!
We're still missing the one on the far left but working on that tomorrow :)
Yesterday prior to our lengthy voyage through the picture frame section of Goodwill we quickly cruised through their vast furniture collection. Though most pieces were...um...well...ew...we did find a little beauty that caught our eye. We let it be and thought we might just come back the next day to get it...well might turned into DID and here she is!

On sale for $59.99 on Monday, purchased for $24.99 on Tuesday!
Don't look at those huge chunks of wood missing...they aren't really there... ;)

Why wouldn't you want to use a 9-drawer
dresser as a buffet in your dining room?
Goes well with our Craigslist table!
So that's a quick glimpse at what Jeff and I have spent our time doing over the last 72 hours. It's been a lot of fun and I'm so thankful he was here because I know I wouldn't have done this on my own!! Love you, Jeffy Pants, and so glad you're home :)

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
