Hey everyone!! It's been a bit since my last "Watch Me Grow" post so here's a quick update on our not-so-little (but still little) homie. He turned 18 months old on Tuesday and as of his last visit he weighs 25lbs, 8 oz (46%), stands a whopping 32 inches tall (44%) and his Anders dome measures an impressive 49.6 cm (91%)!! WHOA...that's a huge head, Smallz! His favorite activities these days are throwing anything and everything he can get his hands on, smacking Mommy in the face while trying to swipe her glasses (my remedy to this is coming soon hopefully), melting down after, well, every time he doesn't get his way and constantly running all over the house like a crazy, whack, psycho! WHoo Hoo -- we've officially entered Toddlerville :) Good thing his still cute as a button :)

Had to show you the outfit he chose today. BEAUTY! |
..OK so now onto the +Grandpa Dean part of this post -- Yeay Grandpa Dean! He came to visit his grandbaby for the weekend and we packed in lots of great fun. We love, love, love having family and friends come visit us! The fall weather cooperated for us on Saturday and we took advantage by visiting
Hidden Valley Fruit Farm after hauling in a fabulous breakfast at
First Watch! Check out the family fun:
Lots of fun...and beware, the bakery may just be owned by the devil himself!! Amazed we only with a half gallon of apple cider and only one caramel apple! |
| Grandpa saved the day with a quarter -- yummy goat pellets! |
E liked to feed the goats one pellet at a time -- couldn't quite figure out how
to just open his palm and let 'em chow down |
Jace loves barnyards and fruit farms...I mean
just look at that face!! |
They had a sign that told us not to feed the llama -- why have a llama
that bites in the barnyard for kids? and where are his red pajamas? |
After playing on some of their sweet playground equipment...
| Apparently he needs help walking... |
It was time to go...
| Enter aforementioned meltdown... |
After a big lunch and solid two-hour nap the beast was calmed and we continued on with our lovely weekend. We made a quick trip over to Toys 'R Us so Grandpa could spoil the little man with some new Elmo and Mickey paraphernalia...
| Reading with Grandpa! I think Dean even sang along to a few of these but can't be sure ;) |
E's favorite word these days is "ousssside" so after reading we all threw on our jackets and headed oussside.
| Thanks for the new gear, Auntie Sherry & The Original 4/16 |
| Daddy workin' hard to figure out the new bubble gun |
| Success! We'd do anything for that smile :) |
| I. Love. These. Boys!!! |
Saturday night was filled with lots of football and Gopher hockey for the guys while Mommy carved Easton's pumpkin.
| Happy HallowEen! |
This morning was an early one because someone to remain nameless decided he'd like to wake up BEFORE the sun. Why not? Made for a nice, yet eerie, photo as the sun began to rise, though.
The Deaner rolled with us on our weekly shopping extravaganza...and even treated his daughter-in-law to a nice cup o' Starbucks coffee :) It was a great morning that turned crappy when Grandpa had to leave around 1030 to catch his 1215 flight. Not to be too sad though because Thanksgiving is right around the corner and will be here before we know it! Thanks for coming to visit, Grandpa! We love you!!

Great pictures Ali!!
ReplyDeleteThe wagon picture is fabulous!!!!! What editing program do you use?
