Cheese!!!

Yeay for weekends...and randomness...and best friends...
Rockin' Daddy's hat - my new favorite picture

Quite possibly his most classy look to date

No event is ever complete without trying
to eat something that isn't edible

Took this to show off his little curls. Jace wants to cut them. I told him
he'd be politely excused from the family if scissors come anywhere near
these beauties!

Pissed because Mom & Dad won't let me go
play in the snow...

C'mon please?

Hey neighbors! Check out my monster jams

Easton's favorite corner @ daycare. I mean it's an
immediate bee-line to those tubs of toys every
morning

Easton's primary teacher - Mrs. Santa
She's also teaching him Spanish

Easton's other teacher - Mrs. Diane. She takes such great care of him :)

Mrs. Santa made these "toys" for E. They've
been a HUGE hit -- and gotta love the price
To the best friend portion of that opening fragment I want to wish my best friend Sam a happy belated 8th birthday. Yes, she's a leap year baby...and one of the toughest chicks around. That's her during her deployment to Iraq... circa 2005. She loves it when I pull these gems from the archive -- don'tcha Sam?!  Hope those boys of yours spoiled you rotten :)

I bet you'd like to know who did the sourcing for those
beautiful desert ABUs...
I'm nearing the end of school and things with the job should be calming down as our move draws near (fingers crossed) so these posts should get more interesting in a few weeks...depends on your definition of "interesting"though I suppose. :) Hope you all have a great week. I know Jace will barely be able to sleep as Selection Sunday draws near...aye...

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
