We Love You

Happy Valentine's Day, Little Homie. Can't believe how much you've grown in a year -- or that you're getting books from Auntie Sherry on potty training!! Happy Hearts Day, everyone. Yep. People totally call this day "Hearts Day"...what rock have you been living under?

My first foray into using brushes -- and Easton's first adventure in filling out cheap valentines from the grocery store.
sorry everyone at daycare...you're lucky i even remembered to buy these...though in my mind they look like this

Look at this stellar penmanship...he gets it from his grandfather

We opened his gifts last night because, well,
why not? Thanks Grandma & Grandpa and
Auntie Sherry & The Original

He just reads this and is potty trained, right?

Of course, he picks up the wrong book.
C'mon, man!

OK, OK, that's enough of that sitting still business. Let's play, Dad!

Hope you all -- yea, all 7 of you reading this -- have a "love"ly day today!

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
