Team Anders Christmas

Waiting for Santa I hope this quick update finds everyone happy, healthy and 5 lbs heavier like yours truly. OK, OK, I don't really hope for the last part but dang I need to slow my caloric roll :)  Anyway, we've had quite the crazy December so I've been horrible with keeping these posts current after my birthday . Sorry bout that. But here we are. Gonna hit you with a few more over the next couple days (I hope). I'll start with Christmas.

A Fabulously Felt Birthday

Birthdays. Super fun. I think I'm 33 but just had to check the math again. Birthdays are pretty great...despite the getting older part (I could deal with a little Benjamin Button type crap for the next few of them). It's always really great to hear a few little "hellos" from friends and family throughout the day whether it be through phone calls, or text or even a Facebook post so THANK YOU ALL for taking a second to say hello on Friday it truly made my day :)

Christmas Time Is Here

All ready for the Tomlinsons' arrival! Yeay! December!! Our tree has been up since the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the Christmas tunes have been playing since around then, too (thanks 94.5 FM ).  I'm pretty excited for the holidays this year because it will be the first time I'll get to spend it with my family since 2009 (I think).  Regardless, the house is decorated, everyone's got a stocking and we're ready for a great time!  Here's a quick look at our weekend. Good times had by all -- though the rain totally ruined a nearly 60 degree day today (ugh).

Turkey Day 2012...Fall to Winter In 4 Hrs Flat

An adorable welcome sign at Grandma Jan's house I think my favorite part is the little turkey...she's so funny :) This just in.... I still love MN.  Jace may no longer invite me back though because it never fails that I spend 90% of my time looking at real estate and telling him 30 thousand times we need to move back...yesterday... So now with that random thought out of the way, let me quickly break down our Turkey Day 2012. It started eeeearly on Thanksgiving morning as we packed up the D-jo and headed for the airport at 0445. Our flight left Dayton @ 0645 and landed in Minneapolis at 0750. E was great for most of the flight except for the decent. He did NOT find that to be an enjoyable segment of the trip -- and neither did the other passengers.  The only way the flight could have been worse would have been if Rae pooped in her kennel. Bullet dodged, thank goodness :) We landed and headed to Huntington Ave for breakfast...and coffee...         ...
