Team Anders Christmas

Waiting for Santa
I hope this quick update finds everyone happy, healthy and 5 lbs heavier like yours truly. OK, OK, I don't really hope for the last part but dang I need to slow my caloric roll :)

Anyway, we've had quite the crazy December so I've been horrible with keeping these posts current after my birthday. Sorry bout that. But here we are. Gonna hit you with a few more over the next couple days (I hope). I'll start with Christmas.

Our holiday break started on Saturday the 22nd with a fun family trip to Columbus and the Center of Science & Industry (COSI). They have a kidspace that Easton really enjoyed. Tons of stuff to climb on, jump off and throw around.

Christmas Eve was a day off for both Jace and I so we had a major lounge day. It was EXCELLENT!

Not much to see here. The scene stayed the
same for many, many hours
We let Easton open one gift.  Jace loved it.

E spent the rest of the night playing
without any pants on. why not?

Merry Christmas Eve
Easton woke up around 8am on Christmas morning and it was time to see what Santa had brought our little homie. We skyped with Grandpa Dean and Grandma Cheryl and then Auntie Sherry and 4-16 the original. As to be expected our little man was totally spoiled.  Thank you, thank you, thank you (love, Easton)!

Thanks, Grandpa Dean :)
The afternoon finally rolled around and it was time to go pick up my mom, dad and brother at the airport. This is the first Christmas we've spent together since 2008 so I was really excited.  We got back to the house in the late afternoon and opened all our presents. It was fun to watch Easton get a little more excited about unwrapping his gifts compared to last year.

Merry Christmas from the Tomlinson/Anders!

After little E went to bed we had a nice family dinner :)
Cheers!
I hope you all had a wonderful time wherever you spent your holiday!

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
