School Daze

Today was Easton's first day of "school" at the Hanscom Child Development Center (CDC). I'm not going back to work for over a month (July 11th) but once his slot opened up we had to accept it (and start paying) or decline, re-apply and head to the bottom of the wait list - no thanks! Since we're paying for it Jace and I figured we'd start slow with a few hours a week so I could have a some time to run some errands, grab a workout and possibly catch up on some much needed sleep. I accomplished the workout, grabbed some lunch and was missing the little homie too much to do anything more so it was back to Hanscom to pick him up. When I arrived he was just a chillin' in his bouncy chair with a big smile on his face. Elizabeth, his afternoon caregiver, said he had been great and was impressed with how content he'd been all day. He drank both his 5oz bottles but unfortunately didn't nap much (not looking forward to this evening!) Anyway, high-five little man, I think we'll be invited back!

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
