Super Family Fun

The letters were a gift from Jeff and
were hand-painted in Argentina! He
gives the most unique gifts :)
Easton is sound asleep, Jace is following his son's example and I'm just reflecting on a great family visit from my family...and the fact that our little homie is now 11 weeks old!! I told you all about our trip to Maine but want to wrap up the rest of the week since we had so much fun :)

Tuesday night we celebrated Jeff's impending exit from his 20's at one of my favorite restaurants, Beacon Grille, and on Wednesday Mom, Dad, Jeff and I headed into Boston and took a historic sightseeing cruise of Boston's inner and outer harbors. That night we all said our goodbyes to Jeff and he headed back to Denver for his summer break from teaching in the Dominican Republic (don't worry, he has one more year there and is ALWAYS ready to welcome guests!). Thursday was a low-key day for Mom, Dad, E and me as we spoiled Easton and Rae with a walk at Long Pond. I was really looking forward to the walk since my dad hadn't been there yet but sadly it was kind of a bust because a.) Easton got CRAZY hungry at exactly the halfway point (took us about 20 minutes to get back to the car), and b.) Rae got in a mini-fight with a rambunctious dog at the park. We've seen better days at our favorite walking park that's for sure...

Heidi & Matt - We'll miss you two!!

On Friday, my parents took a day-trip down to Newport so Mom could see the Navy base where Dad did his training in February while Jace and I attended a BBQ for our friends Matt & Heidi Bader. Matt just got out of the Air Force and they are moving back home to Portland, OR. And finally, today we all we headed over to Wakefield, MA to walk around Lake Quannapowitt then stopped for lunch on the patio at Bellino's. It was the perfect way to wrap up their visit!

Here are some more pictures and a video* from this week!!

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
