October Photography Challenge - Who's In?

Hello again out there! So...I came across this October Photography Challenge in one of the blogs I follow called The Project Girl and thought you all (well at least all of you who enjoy taking photos) might like to join me starting 1 Oct (yea, I'm talking to you Mel and Molly!)

Gotta give props to the originator of the Challenge and I will just borrow this quote from The Project Girl because it's kind of confusing...

"I found this challenge via That Wife and she found it via twitter and The Wired Lives, and I think she found it via it’s original starter White Peach Photo …"

OK now that I've given all necessary props here's how it's done...wait for it, wait for it...

1. Read the task for the day
2. Grab your camera
3. Snap the shot
4. Post to your blog, Facebook or Twitter!

Drop me a comment below if you think you'll try to do this so I can be sure to blog/FB/Twitter stalk your photos! Looking forward to seeing your photos come 1 Oct :)

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
