Back At It...

Yea...back to work...yucky
or maybe he's telling me to get the camera out
of his grill...who knows :)
So long holiday schedule, it was back to the grind for Team Anders. It's taken a bit of time for us to get adjusted back into our daily routine - and the 0545 wake ups with no naps - but we've got a 4-day work week under our belts and all of the Team seems to be adjusted. The toughest part for me is sending Easton back to daycare and only getting to see him for about two hours everyday. He's so exhausted from being at "school" all day (where he refuses to nap - too much he might be missing out on) that the second I pick him up and drive the .5 miles home he's racked out for the night! :( sad mommy...sleepy baby...

Anyway, not a ton to talk about except that I had an interview on Wednesday for a potential job which would take the family back to Dayton, OH this coming summer. I am very excited about the opportunity and am keeping my fingers crossed that it all works out. The interview went as well as I could have imagined but we'll see if I'm selected. If I am we'll have one last hurdle to clear with the personnel team down in Texas since I'm not technically schedule to change station until summer '13. Keeping our fingers crossed :)

Other than that we're just enjoying the unseasonably "warm" weather here...despite the two frigid days early in the week it's been in the mid-40's here!! Lovely :) Easton is continuing to develop his mobility tactics and is CRUISING all over the house. He's also now able to stand on his own...pulls himself up on the rails of his crib, mommy and daddy's legs, Rae...whatever he can find! Super cute. Here are some photos from the week!

All bundled up for school. Haven't got much
use out of this heavy jacket...yet... ugh

Ok ready buddy? 1...2...

3!!! Look at him go :) Standing all by himself

Rae supervising from her new perch...cat-dog...

E's new favorite thing is to crawl over objects - doesn't matter what he just
keeps going...back and forth...I think at this point he was after my coffee mug

Success...well at least over the obstacle...the coffee mug somehow
relocated itself to the other side of my leg

Our play room...so great!!!

Gooood morning, everyone!

We do not like to be told "no"...such a rough
life you lead, son...
Well I've got tons going on so gots to say adios for now!! Hope everyone has a fabulous week and it's off to the slopes for us this Friday so I anticipate having a much more interesting entry next week. Until then... :)

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
