Home, Sweet Home - Ohio Style

Didn't I just post a picture of a "new house" about five months ago?
Can't believe both our cars fit...Jace's parking skills will be tested DAILY
Well the Team has finally made it to our new home and we couldn't be more happy! Temporary living had its high points - especially getting to spend so much time with my mama - but nothing beats our own bed :) It's been a whirlwind weekend and we're both exhausted but I couldn't leave ya'll hangin' after my last Facebook post. If you couldn't tell I was a little concerned that our household goods (yea, Jeff, HHG = household goods) weren't going to arrive but they did and it's been "go, go, go" since Friday. We're pretty much as settled as we can be after 48 hours and there's quite a bit left to do but the essentials are set. Here's a little picture tour of our new digs...Easton's third home in 13 months (welcome to the military, kiddo).

That's our "front" door down the stairs to the right. I say "front" because
it's really on the left-side of the house when facing the garage. The split
takes you up to the huge great/living/dining room and down to the basement.
BTW - the dining room set was a great Craigslist find by my mom!!!

The owners are awesome and left us that fabulous entertainment center...
and Easton's loudly claimed his territory!!

We finally hit the commissary today so I was able to cook our first dinner
in our new home!!! I love this little kitchen...

And Easton loves chocolate pudding! ;)
So that's it for now! Back to the grind for both Mommy AND Daddy tomorrow. Yep, Jace FINALLY got everything squared away with his job so we're both back at it!! Hope everyone has a great week and get those grills tuned up for Memorial Day...we'll be looking for a pool because it's freaking HOT here! ;)

    Love the new place guys! What a whirlwind you guys have been in. How exciting to be in your new place and getting settled. So happy for you guys!

My Bachelorette Weekend

Jace has been in MN since Thursday braving the cold with  Team Franchise at the 2011 US Pond Hockey Championship .  The team made it to Sunday again this year but unfortunately couldn't get by the "Pulled Hammies" this morning to advance to the finals.  Better luck next year, boys! :( So, since he's been gone I've been catching up on projects around the homestead since it's been so damn cold outside.  On Thursday night I scanned in about 80 old family photos that I had received over the years from my Aunt Kathleen.  I decided to do this because I'm building an online baby book for mini-Ma$e and you can add pictures - thought it'd be fun to add some old family photos.  Anyway, I won't overload you with too many but here are some of my favorites...the rest can be viewed here . Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!
