25th Percentile!

Happy Sunday everyone :) It's an absolutely beautiful day here in Boston...not many of these left so I'll make this one quick. Thanks to everyone for writing to ask how Easton's weight is progressing. Jace took him to the clinic for another weight check last Monday and he weighed 15 lbs, 8 oz landing him squarely in the 25th percentile for weight. He gained a full pound in the two weeks since his last weigh in (in which he weighed 14 lbs, 7 oz and 10th percentile). So the addition of the 10 PM bottle and the two servings of rice cereal per day have been a smashing success ;) He's been quite the trooper this week as he's battled his first cough...sounds like a total smoker...cough, cough, cough, red face, look of "what the heck was that, Mom?", throw in an occasional sneeze or burp, then back to smiley. This kid rocks! He's also checked pears, apples and b-a-n-a-n-a-s off his list of new foods (sorry but Gwen Stefani has forever altered how I say that word). So that about wraps things up on the Easton front - enjoy some photos!

Bath time - still loves it! Is still mesmerized by how he can't
grab the stream of water that flows from the faucet

Workin' the soap 'mohawk' - well we're trying anyway

Dad, seriously with this watching eight games at once BS?

Aw...red, snotty nose on the way to school. :)

Getting stronger

Loving the nice weather...you know, just hanging out

Using my legs to help keep him upright...

Slowly getting there :)

Love you Auntie Crystal :)
Pete & Crys moved into their new house this weekend!!!

Kid LOOOVES his feet

No problem wearing this bib now that
the Falcons got the 'W'

Somehow managed to get all his
stacking animals around his arms & legs

"I'm so excited....I'm so excited!"

My hair is slowly starting to come in :)

Just another shot to show you his hair

AND...my first pimple (get use to it kiddo, love mom)

Starting to figure out those legs are going to someday
serve a purpose

Jace is off at the Pats game today with Rod so Easton, Rae and I are just kickin it at home. We'll probably head to the park or go have a little picnic outside...something to soak up the sun. Tomorrow is Columbus Day...love it or loathe it I'm just a fan of having the day off!! Next week we're heading to Chicago to see Joey, Catie and Jack Locallo (so excited!!). It's going to look pretty funny walking through the airport with Jace in his Vikes jersey and me rocking the Urlacher orange. Easton didn't get any Bears stuff so he'll side with Daddy...tho maybe I'll sneak in a pair of socks for him from the gift shop.

Have a great week everyone!!!

Introducing...Easton Douglas Anders!

Easton Douglas Anders - 3 days old More pictures @ http://www.our365.com/ He's here, he's here!!!  Jace and I welcomed our son Easton Douglas to the world this past Saturday, April 16th at 4:22 PM and we couldn't be more proud.  It was an awesome experience...not so much in the "incredibly cool, can't wait to do it again" context but genuinely in AWE of how mother nature and modern medicine can work together to ease a woman and efficiently deliver a baby.  Before I tell you all a little bit about our story (again, no worries, I won't blast all the nitty gritty across your screen) I must say a HUGE thank you to our staff at Winchester Hospital.  Though I know not a single of of those doctors, nurses and other staff members will read this they will forever hold a special place in our hearts for the outstanding service and love they showed all three of us!!  They exceeded any expectations Jace and I might have had and just had to throw that out there. ...

My Bachelorette Weekend

Jace has been in MN since Thursday braving the cold with  Team Franchise at the 2011 US Pond Hockey Championship .  The team made it to Sunday again this year but unfortunately couldn't get by the "Pulled Hammies" this morning to advance to the finals.  Better luck next year, boys! :( So, since he's been gone I've been catching up on projects around the homestead since it's been so damn cold outside.  On Thursday night I scanned in about 80 old family photos that I had received over the years from my Aunt Kathleen.  I decided to do this because I'm building an online baby book for mini-Ma$e and you can add pictures - thought it'd be fun to add some old family photos.  Anyway, I won't overload you with too many but here are some of my favorites...the rest can be viewed here . Moving on... Friday started off with another snowstorm - excellent.  Hanscom was open for business...well, that is, for everyone ex...

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!
