OPC - Day 18 "Your Shoes"

It's great to be back to the October Photography Challenge...took a few days off with our trip to Chicago (might do some catch up shots over the weekend though...TBD). Today's assignment photo is in honor of my husband's numerous requests for me to wear these shoes as much as possible. He loves my Birks...
I wish I lived in a climate where I could wear these 365! LOVE
Ok so sarcasm above, Jace hates them...but I LOVE my Birkenstocks. I think I've owned a pair, in one style or another, since 6th or 7th grade. I photographed these because their time on my feet in 2011 is rapidly coming to a close and that makes me sad. :(

    I really want a pair of Birkenstocks, I had some when I was around 10 and wore them till I was basically walking on the ground!

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
