OPC - Day 19 "Something Orange"

Thumbs down to the New England autumn rain because I had totally planned on photographing some of the beautiful orange leaves on the trees around our apartment. Since I figured the downpour wouldn't be good for my camera or iPhone I went roaming around the house looking for something orange...repeat pattern of what I did for Day 11 "Something Blue". If we were even remotely prepared for Halloween it would have been a no brainer...candy corn, pumpkins, etc. but no such luck.

So I tried numerous shots but nothing was working until Jace jokingly told me to take a picture of his SLP hockey jacket. I thought "lame"...and then I thought "hmm...wait...maybe not the jacket but he does have an old high school hockey jersey in the closet"...and voila! My something "orange" (disregard the white & black)... Go Orioles!
Shot with my iPhone (because I left my good camera on
all night last night...battery = drained)

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
