OPC - Day 5 "From a High Angle"

This is what the view looks like from our 3rd floor apartment at 7:50 PM after a very long day.

Photo Specifics:
Sony a33 on Auto+ mode, it selected Night View Slow Shutter (gracias, camera)
THIS is the crap I don't get but would love to learn:
ISO 1250, F3.5 1.3"
Info on the long day (stop reading if you don't care...waaa waaa waaa below):
  1. Remember that test I asked you all to wish me well on? (thanks, BTW) Well I'm going to have to ask you to retract your well-wishes or, at least, hold those thoughts :( I stayed up and studied (read: crammed) for that test, arrived at the base education office right on time and confidently walked into the...uh...dark classroom this morning?!? Yea, test was Tuesday morning so I totally missed it...oh stop, I can just see all of you out there who know me just shaking your head (Jace)...so freaking typical, I know. So anyway, guess the silver lining is I have more time to study now...rescheduled for the 11th.
  2. Had a hair appointment scheduled for 6:00 PM tonight. I freaking LOVE to get my hair done so I seriously look forward to these appointments when they come along. Had a meeting that started at 4:45 PM and...well I think you can tell where I'm taking this one. Found myself waving goodbye to the gates of Hanscom at 6:45 PM. Hairstylist not happy with me GUARANTEED. There goes that referral savings I have waiting for me...
  3. I got home so late that Smallz was already in bed - this is the first time I've had this happen since being back to work and it isn't a great feeling :(
Headed to the freezer to decompress with some malted milk ball gelato...wouldn't want to leave the bacon I had for lunch all alone in my coronary arteries. Ok I'm done - new day tomorrow! PEACE

Deck The Halls '13

Fa, la, la, la, laaa...la, la, la, la.  Christmas decorating came a bit early this year but we wanted to be adequately prepared for Uncle Jeff's arrival tomorrow -- and also, Easton is lovin' him some Christmas...and Santa...and talking about presents...which, in turn, allows us to talk about him being good for Santa and said presents. "No, Mom, I got this" I obviously got dressed up for the occasion...honestly, as long as the Christmas tree hat is on I could care less what I'm wearing. :) A quick little stroll down memory lane.  Love you, Gramie! E putting his "First Christmas" ornament up Just a little nostalgia -- this is the chair we did all his monthly shots in And a bonus shot (thanks for sticking around so long).  Little man's toe nail is no where to be found.  So strange. You're welcome, E. Love, Mom.

Trunk or Treat 2013

We just got back from Trunk or Treating at Easton's daycare...how flippin' fun (and pretty roarsome as Henry Hugglemonster would say). Mr. Blondie waiting for the trunk or treating to begin! Still figuring out that the chocolate must be unwrapped first. No hurry to explain :) Homeless Lion with a Market Basket bag. Score one for the parents. Some pretty creative pumpkins!

Little Slugger

Considering the World Series may come to a conclusion soon I figured I should get these photos up while baseball's still being played.  Though he's not throwin' from the mound with his left (yet) he is definitely a natural left-hand batter.  Daddy and Grapes are stoked.
